AGH University of Science and Technology Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science within the TEAM programme* entitled:

“Atomic and molecular level devising of functional nanostructures

for magnetic and catalytic applications”

announces open competition for:

STUDENTS

for completion of Master’s thesis (1 topic) concerning growth and characterization of nanostructures for spintronic and catalytic applications.

Maximum duration: October 1, 2011 – February 28, 2013

From candidates we expect:

* BS (physics),

* high grades during studies,

* passion for research work,

* good English skills,

We offer:

* attractive scientific topics,

* access to the modern research equipment,

* stipend 1000 PLN /month

Recruitment procedure:

Applications should contain at least: CV, cover letter, detailed list of all courses taken and assessed during the study period, additional information concerning achievements like: activities in scientific circles, popularization of knowledge, presented scientific talks, language certificates etc. A recommendation letter from tutor or other scientist is expected.

The selection process will be completed by June 17, 2011. The deadline can be postpone if not proper candidate is found.
