Acta Materialia Gold Medal Workshop Perspectives of nanoscience and nanotechnology
European Materials Research Society organises every year the Spring Meeting in Strasburg, and Fall Meeting in September in Warsaw. The 2007 E-MRS Fall Meeting registration will begin on Sunday, September 16th followed by the Welcome Reception in the evening. The Conference will begin on Monday, September 17th with the Opening Ceremony. Meeting will include from 10 symposia, 2 plenary sessions, training activities for young researchers or scientists wishing to extend their expertise to new fields as well as an exhibition of products and services of interest to those participating in the event. This workshop will begin in the afternoon of September 17, 2007. It will follow two Plenary Lectures on Monday morning, one by Professor Herbert Gleiter, the recipient of the Acta Gold Medal, and the other one by Professor Shuji Nakamura, who will be receiving the E-MRS Czochralski Award.
The E-MRS Fall Meeting will be held in Warsaw University of Technology (Central Campus), the biggest technical university in Poland.
